Alejandro L. Miquel is a proud West Palm Beach native and a third-generation physician, continuing a family legacy of dedicated healthcare service. His journey in medicine began at Universidad Iberoamericana, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. This academic milestone provided a strong foundation for his career, which was further shaped by his time at the Texas Tech University Family Residency Program. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident and President of House Staff, roles that honed his leadership, collaboration, and compassionate patient care skills.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Miquel has held prominent positions, including Medical Director of MCCI and Conviva in Lake Worth, where he led initiatives to improve patient outcomes and optimize operational efficiency. His commitment to healthcare extends beyond clinical practice. In 2018, he earned an MBA from Auburn University, enabling him to combine medical expertise with strategic leadership. His role as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Operations for Florida Community Health Centers further expanded his impact, allowing him to influence healthcare delivery on a broader scale. Throughout his career, he has championed preventative care and wellness programs, reflecting his deep passion for proactive health measures that enhance individual and community well-being.
Outside of his professional achievements, Dr. Miquel is happily married and the proud father of two sons. His family is his greatest joy and a source of inspiration in his mission to advance healthcare. In his free time, he enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and cooking—activities that bring balance to his life and deepen his appreciation for nature.
